In the spring of 2023, OHGS was born out of a bold move by our founding partner, Chasity, who did what many only joke about — she rage-quit the corporate world, cashed in her retirement, and opened a headshop. That leap of faith set the tone for everything that followed: fearless, unconventional, and rooted in authenticity.

In those early days, OHGS took shape with the help of some truly incredible people. Friends, staff, and supporters came and went, each leaving their mark and helping form the foundation of our vibe and vision. Most importantly, the Palmyra community showed up in a big way. From day one, this town didn’t just support OHGS — they partnered with us, shaping the shop into the welcoming, community-driven space it is today.

As the business evolved, so did the people behind it. Chasity has since stepped away from her role at OHGS, and today Ash carries the torch forward as the remaining partner. With the same grit, heart, and rebellious spirit that sparked OHGS in the first place, Ash is committed to continuing — and expanding — the vision over time.

OHGS remains a place built on good energy, real connections, and doing things our own way. The journey continues, and the vibe is only getting better.
